Glenford Nixon, MD, CMD, attended Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, and received his medical degree in 1985. Then, he served his internal medicine residency at the NYU College of Medicine and Winthrop-University Hospital, now NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island, in Mineola, NY (1985-1988). Furthermore, he conducted his geriatrics fellowship at the same teaching institution, i.e., Winthrop-University Hospital (1988-1990). In addition, Dr. Nixon received board certification in internal medicine and geriatrics from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
